More Exciting Than Homework

Bobby didn't say anything about getting a call from one of my friends.  Good.  Allie told him not to tell me that she called.  I have homework in Geometry, English and History today.  Nothing good happened today.  I'm sure the year will get some exciting.  At least more exciting than homework.

Just Grabbed One and Danced

Gosh!  The last time I wrote it was the day before school started!  A lot has happened since then!  The first day was pretty good.  Guess what?  Last year there was a yucky guy named Steve that was at my bus stop (the bus stop is at the end of my driveway and usually it's just me).  Well, Steve moved away so I figured I would be all alone waiting for the bus in the morning.  So I was standing there, waiting for the stupid bus, I looked over to my right and somebody is walking down the road toward me.  It is this really cute guy named Bobby!  He's so nice!  Now, I like riding the bus!  I'm so happy that someone cool finally rides my bus.

The second day of school was good.  I have Biology homework already.  Thursday night, Eli had a game, and right before the 2nd quarter, he broke his leg!!  He has to wear a full leg cast for about 6 weeks!  And he can't play football for the rest of the year because it takes a long time for it to completely heal and get strong again.

Friday night was the Varsity game and the Welcome Back Dance.  I went to the dance.  Me and Allie went there and almost everybody was still at the game.  After about 20 minutes, everyone got there.  Once they got there, it was so fun!  We saw a bunch of cute Freshman guys standing in a group by the wall just watching us dance, so Jessalyn just grabbed one and danced with him, so we all did!  It was so funny.  And there was more of us than there was of them so we shared.  The one I got was really cute!  His name is Josh Price.  Then for the rest of the dance they were hanging around us.  

Jessalyn got a boyfriend at the dance, but I hate him!  I didn't tell her that, but I guess I might of showed it.   They went and sat outside and talked.  Audra and Claire were with them too.  I was, but I realized what a jerk he is, I left and I stayed inside and danced.  I had way more fun inside anyway.  Allie spent the night last night.

Today we went to Grandma's house.  When we were done with dinner, we went into the living room and talked.  Mom and Grandma were cleaning the kitchen.  We looked up Bobby's number in the phone book and Allie called him!  She asked him if he liked me and he said he doesn't know, because he doesn't know me, but he said I was pretty!  I can't wait until tomorrow!

Bus Comes at 6:20

Today I babysat my cousin for an hour or so, and I helped Aunt Trista get her classroom ready for school tomorrow.  Ahh!!!  I'm nervous!  I don't know why I'm nervous, it's not like I'm a Freshman or anything.  Well I gotta go to bed cause my bus comes at 6:20am!  C-ya!

**Editors Note: Dude that is HARSH.  The bus COMES AT 6:20!  That means I had to get up at, at least, 5:20am if I only gave myself an hour to get ready.  Oh my god that sucks.  And I know I used to straighten my hair every day for school so I'm sure I got up at 5 to have enough time for that.  Ow.**

They Aren't Ready

Today I got all my stuff ready for school.  I got my clothes picked out.  I did my nails.  I got my backpack ready.  Then, at about 8:00 this evening, Allie called and said that there is no school tomorrow.  I just said "haha, sure, now what did you really call to tell me?" She said, "No, Maddie, I'm serious!"  And she promised that she was telling the truth.  So I turned on the radio and sure enough, they said that there isn't going to be school tomorrow because they aren't ready!!  Cool!  An extra day of summer!!

For Dinner We Had...

Today is Sunday.  On Friday night, Alaina spent the night.  Then on Saturday (yesterday) I went over to her house.  For dinner we had an Ice Cream Snickers bar, bread sticks, and a chocolate malt from DQ.  When I got home, I felt so sick!  I went right to bed and ten minutes later, I was in the bathroom puking.  Then I felt better.  Today me and Mom baked and decorated a cake.  It was fun.  I also drove a lot today.  Well, gotta go!

Chocolate Malt

When Dad came over, he saw the house, then we looked at pictures.  Then we went to Wal-Mart and got me another photo album.  Then we went to the Mall and I got 2 new pairs of shoes, 4 shirts for school and 6 pairs of sweat socks and 6 pairs of pretty socks.  Then we stopped at Mom's work to see her.  Then we went to the flower shop to get Grandma some flowers because it was her birthday that day.  Then we went to Dairy Queen.  I got a strawberry shake.  Dad got a chocolate Malt made with vanilla ice cream.  Dad said it tastes better made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce than made with chocolate ice cream.  That's what I'm gonna get the next time we go there.  Then it will remind me of him.  Then he dropped me off at home and we said goodbye.  I miss him a lot.

Yesterday I went over to Allie's to spend the night.  We slept in the tent in her backyard.  We stayed up till like 3 in the morning, just talking and stuff.  We were playing with her Gameboy camera and it was so fun. We went to school today to get our schedules and decorate our lockers.  Mine looks really cool!!!!!  Well I gotta go to bed now!

Got Divorced

School starts on the 25th.  I'm gonna start writing in here today because I'm never going to be able to fill this diary unless I write a lot, every day.  

I just got back from Dad's house yesterday.  Mom and Jon got divorced.  Jon and Justin already moved out.  I'm so sad.  And they took a bunch of stuff with them too.  They took the futon, the TV from Mom's room, all of the stuff from Justin's room, the N64, Mom & Jon's bed, some dishes, and last but not least, the worse thing they could do, they took Penny.  My baby girl!  I'm so mad!  How could they do that to me?!  I miss her so much!  All I want to do is hold her in my arms, but I can't.

Mom's friend Josie gave us her couch, love seat and table!  We made Justin's room into a den.  And the house looks a lot cleaner without those two around.  Dad is staying with Grandma and Grandpa until tomorrow, so he's going to come over to see the house and say goodbye to me and Brennan today at around 12:30.  That's in a half hour.  I better go eat lunch before he gets here, since he already ate at Gram & Gramps house.  Bye!

p.s. Aunt Patty told Dad that when I get my license, she is going to give me her car!!!

Old Navy Tech Vest

Today is our last day here, we're leaving tomorrow afternoon.  It's 12:09am and I'm still up cause I'm packing my stuff so I won't have to do it tomorrow.  We went to the mall today so I could get a backpack and an Old Navy Tech Vest.  I also bought some nail polish at Old Navy, 3 for $5.

After dinner, we all watched the videos of the family from 98-99.  I gotta finish packing and get to bed!

Sixteen Candles

This morning I babysat from 9:30-11.  Before I left, Carol gave me a gift.  A nail pop and a mini caboodle's with hair clips and stuff inside.  It was really cool.  The nail pop is like nail polish, it's shaped like a sucker and it's wrapped like one.  It smells like grape!  

Then we went to the pool.  When Dad got home, we went to Blockbuster and rented Sixteen Candles.  We just got done watching it now.  It's 10:19.  The Tom Green show is on at 10:30 so I'm gonna watch that, then go to bed.

Free Stuff Inside

Today I babysat at the Victor's from 10-3.  The kids were pretty good.  Then, after I got home from babysitting, Mom took me to the doctors, I have a middle ear infection.  I have 2 medicines for it.  We went to CVS to pick them up and I got a "Caboodle's" make-up holder.  It had some free stuff inside, travel deodorant, V05 Hot Oil, Pantene Pro V conditioning spray, Calgon Hawaiian Ginger body mist, a coupon for a free issue of Teen Magazine and some samples of perfume.  I also bought some eyeliner and Sweet Treats Lip Gloss.  After dinner today we went to DQ.  Now it's 11:14pm and I'm sitting on my bed watching Undressed.  C-ya!

It Finally Rained

We didn't really do anything today.  We just stayed at home, inside, because it finally rained!  The first time this summer!  I've been trying to spend as much time as I can with the kids.  I'm gonna miss them so much. I don't wanna leave.  Tomorrow I have to babysit at the Victor's.  Then I have to go to the doctor's, I think I have an ear infection.  I called Mom today and she said that right when I get back I have to call my drivers ed teacher and tell him I'm back so that I can take my BTW.

Painted Our Nails

This morning me and Mom went outside and painted our nails.  Then we and Brennan went for a bike ride.  At around 6:00, Amy had a birthday party.  I can't believe that she's 6 years old already!  When I met her, she was only 21 months!  I don't really want to babysit at all this week but I have to babysit on Wednesday from 10 to 3 at the Victor's and Thursday from 9:30-11 at the Miller's.  I gotta go!

Slice of Pizza

Today Mom and I went and got our hair cut.  Then went out for a slice of pizza.  Then we went to the bookstore and drugstore.  We got some nail polish and we're gonna do our nails tomorrow night.  Then we went grocery shopping.  I can't believe how fast summer has gone by!  We're leaving on Saturday, the 14th.  I'm gonna miss everyone here so much.  Gotta go to bed.  Goodnight!

P.S. I called most of my friends today and I don't have classes with any of them!  More bad news...Jessalyn might be moving away!

School Shopping

Today Katelyn's Dad came to pick her up.  Then Mom, Brennan and I all went school shopping.  This is what I got:

Two Out Of Three

I haven't wrote in a while.  Katelyn came over on Monday and went home Monday night.  Tuesday she stayed the day and spent the night and Wednesday night.  Yesterday (Thursday) she spent the day, and she's spending the night tonight, she's leaving in the morning.  I am sick right now, so I am staying home while they are at the pool.  

On Wednesday evening me and Katelyn went for a walk to Hallmark and The Dollar Store.  When we came out of the store there were three guys sitting on the bench and their bikes.  When we walked by them they said "Hi girls!  How are you?" and I said "good," One of them said "My friend wants you!" But me and Katelyn kept walking and we'd turn around every once and a while.  They kept yelling stuff like "Call me baby!  My name's Chris!  409-BLAH" (I forgot it).  Two out of three of them were cute.  Gotta go.

It Wasn't Good Sleep

Yesterday morning before we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house we stopped at the bookstore because Curious George was there.  The boys loved it!  Not too much happened at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Stuff did happen that I could write about but I'm too tired, and it's not worth it.  Last night I only got a little bit of sleep and it wasn't good sleep.  Goodnight.
