Our first performance was today! It was so cool! It was pouring rain at the beginning of the game, and by the 2nd quarter it stopped. When we were about to go out there, counting down the seconds, we were all holding hands in a circle and telling each other how great we were gonna do. When we went out there, I was so nervous, I thought I was gonna barf. I got into my position, everyone's ready to go, and the announcer says, "We now present, the BHS...Marching Band!" And we were all like "huh?!" and then they all start playing their little trumpets and stuff. I was so glad that the band went before us, while we were out there because by the time the band was done, I was calmed down enough to really concentrate on the performance. We did it, and we did such a great job! Coach even said that we did very good! When we finished, Alex gave me a big hug, because she knew how nervous I was. Next Friday we perform for the Pep Assembly and for the Homecoming game. :)
