Today was so cool!! We were sitting in 1st hour, just another day, when the heater starts making really funny noises. Then, the power goes out, but not all of it, just most of it. The teacher said to go away from the heater (since me, Alexa, Eli, Pat and Amanda were right next to it). It was too dark in the classroom so we went out into the hall.
Then, on the announcements they said (in a panicking voice) "Do not panic, but we're going to evacuate the building!" And everyone rushes outside. It's freezing cold, and it's raining and we're all standing outside (for almost an hour!). After that, they loaded us all into the gym (why?!) and then told us that they were canceling school (and everybody CHEERS!) (some doing the wave) and everyone ran out.
Me, Allie, Jessalyn, Audra, Claire and Sadie walked to Allie's street, then me and her turned and the others went to Sadie's to get rides home. At Allie's we went to the Mall and Burger King. There were a lot of people there from school, because since it was cancelled, there's nothing else to do. It was a good day!
